I'd watch the NHL if they played on a full sheet of ice...

I still follow a few of my favorite netminders, though.
I wanna' see Luongo's name on the Cup...

I enjoyed watching the Sharks play when Nabokov was in the net.

Nabokov was an exciting goalie, but not a clutch goalie. He could not stay in it during tough games. If the sharks would have had better goaltending last year they would have won the cup. Losing Malhotra turned out to be a big turning point in their game play this year. Vancouver is lucky they have em, fortunately enough for the sharks he's injured and hasnt played at all this series

    Fucking second OT.
How the fuck did they let the Canucks get that damn net with 15 seconds on the clock.

    Wow. Fuck watching sports.
Watching people in uniform run around for over an hour.

I just don't see the enjoyment in that.
Idk, ever since I was a kid, I didn't get it.
I used to play baseball as a kid, but couldn't ever finish watching a baseball game on TV.

Baseball as a kid was awesome for me. I hit the ball one day and hit the coaches little bitch pet right in the eye. Knocked him the fuck down and nearly got me kicked off the team.

    Yup, good times.

    Sports run the world, dude...

Read about it. I took a class on it.
    It blew my fucking mind.

There is so much money involved.
Television has even dictated amendments as to how games are played just to make the viewers happy...
    It's nutty.

Where would the world be with out sports?
    Seriously... think about that.
No sports, athletics or anything related to fitness.

Even if you don't like sports, just think about how fuckin' wacky people get for shit like the World Cup.
When the Olympics come to town....we're talking about billions of dollars for TV rights.

^indeed, sports almost run society. When you turn on the tv you have the option to watch a variety of sports on almost any given day. Yesterday there was hockey on, baseball on, college softball, and a little soccer. Not to mention shows that endlessly recap every sport that was played in the last week... and still there is a on of fat people who cant watch sports on tv because they think its some sort of excercise

Or they don't understand the sport and think it's boring just to watch. Except hockey, that's always interesting to watch. Canadians and Americans beating the shit out of one another for my amusement on ice, hell yes.

    Mhmmm...

That's why I really wish they played on a full sheet of ice in the NHL.
More passing and cycling of the puck. More skating. Less dump and chase.
Better angles for goalies to work with.

^true that, bigger rinks would allow more finesse. Or they could add 2-4 more teams cut down the rosters, and make it always 4on4... that would be interesting
