hey everyone, sorry for the bump, but i need some help: i just got a bmw 735i (1986) and its got an absolute pure shit stereo. i got a new one from a friend, as well as some 6x9's, and im lookin to throw them in.. anyways, those are for another time.. im taking out the old stereo, and putting in the new one right now. got the cables out of the old one, minus the battery cables (assumed i shouldn't fuck with them, cause theyre glued in there or something, so ill disconnect the battery later and just cut the wires? yes?). problem is, the wires dont really match- probably cause the car is so old and the stereo is new. the only things that match are the antenna cables... my question is do i just cut the cables and sodder/crimp, or is there some kind of conversion i can do? anyways, do i need to get pictures of this? does anyone understand what im even tlaking about? sorry if this doesnt make sense lol
93 accords where its at!! you should get a ported box to make your speakers louder and a cheap amp. i got 2 10s runnin off a 500 watt amp and it hits. if your cars small which accords are you dont need too much to make it sound good.
