Been lurking this forum for several years, decided to start contributing again. Here's supply pics that I took for another forum a few days ago. Also, I collect vintage Marsh markers, which I guess is a part of my supplies. I have 2 Marsh 99's (one in original box), 4 Marsh FB-15's (2 in original boxes, 1 new/never used), 4 replacement FB-15 brushes (all still new in box), and the prize of my collection, a mint FB-80 Giant Fountain Brush. It's the only one that I've ever seen, it's never been used, and is in its original box.
@Toe I want some of them Marsh Fountain brushes so bad. How are they? Cause I'm thinking of getting one or two of them off ebay.
Hopefully not American eBay, because I buy everyone I see on there at reasonable price lol. They take a little bit of time to get used to, but they are unlike any other marking utility. There's a set on there now for $20 I believe. One has obviously been used quite a bit, but the other doesn't have much use from what I can tell. I wouldn't pay more than $20 a brush, because most sellers keep relisting them at lower prices, because nobody pays that much online. The 99's are pretty awesome too if you're into tagging.
I'm not sure what that is, but I love the valve system. It opens a whole new level of control for your work, especially with the 99's.
yea that's what I love about them is that lil valve system they have on them and they just look pretty cool and vintage and I love old vintage stuff.
Same here. You don't get that kind of quality anymore. Not only is the look appealing, but the build is so solid. The extra weight feels good when using it. They could almost be used as weapons if you were about to be busted.
The Marsh 99's, to me, are the perfect tagging utensil. The FB-15's and FB-80's however, I'd use for a larger tag or even a small basic throwie. Personally, the 99's are the only ones I use now. I don't like using the others, because I collect them, and they are becoming increasingly hard to find. Also, I completely forgot about the Marsh Rollers. They are also valve controlled, and are completely on a world of their own. Want to get your name up in a tag-style with a fat 3" width or do a small throw? Get a Marsh Roller. It's easily my favorite Marsh product. Here's an eBay link to one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marsh-Rolma...ltDomain_2&hash=item415eaffce8#ht_2484wt_1180
