*Resists urge to smack everything the fuck up.* All this previously posted Linux shit is fucking stupid, "Oh it is so good for hacking, just ignore the fact I use IE, i r t3h ub4 l337 j00 n00b, l0ll3r5k4te5!" Christ. In my past experiances Macintosh, while being stable once running a program is a bit slow for my liking, also there is the whole compatibility. Windows is damn near universal and that is a big plus. But this is also it's flaw, prepare to become a security guru or you'll end up hacked by some script kiddie. I personaly use Linux. It's stable, efficient, and it runs better on my outdated as fuck hardware. But hey what I lack in ram I make up for with a cool case. Yah, that shit is tight.... If you follow the whole, "Adding flames and a tail fin makes my Honda faster" mentality.
Bwa ha ha. This thread is hilarious. It's like having a bunch of old women try to talk about cars. I don't see how you can even attempt to argue one way or the other when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
macs alllll the way for multiple reasons i have a mac home pc and im saving for a laptop so im immersed in macs, but ive used other ones so this isnt byist for all you aspiring artists out there, macs have garage band, the best free beat/song maker ever. anyone here got a ipod? yep i thought so. itunes is from mac, and itunes owns viruses? no problemo! most software theese days has a mac counter part, and besides theres boot camp out now for the intel macs so you can have both windows and mac, on a mac! ya i know im a huge nerd. so what
yall that are saying that macs are only better for video editing obviously dont do much graphic design either. you only have to look at the colour charts on both systems to see the difference.......
u know mac and windows are combining to make a computer that is capable for running both Mac and windows applications..
Windows... is well... its like an open window, viruses just come in freely... Mac is good from my experience, it never gets viruses, freezes or anything of that sort. Never tried linux, but I heard its good so ill have to try it eventually. So since I have never tried linux my vote goes to Mac...
