how did i cheap out? i bought it from best buy. yeah, i got a deal on it, but its not like i went off ebay or craigslist. i've looked it up and its not that uncommon. its the shutter motor or some shit

edit- it seems to be working fine now. just when i go outside in the cold(ish) weather it freezes up.

Yeah cold weather freezes enthusiast DSLR's. Whether it canon or nikon.
I remember my D80 used to do it when I went down south.

Thats why pro's buy D3's... they can hold up to extreme hot and cold.

buy a mechanical film camera and it won't freeze up on you!

i get that sticky shutter problem on my 1000D when its like -20 outside.
mostly when ive been out for atleast an hour of shooting at night though.

i would hear the motor trying to work but the mirror is stuck or soemthing.

im still trying to find a way to somehow destroy my camera so i can get a brand new one and sell that for an upgrade
this in store warranty says 3 repairs and i get a new one.
ive already had 2 if you guys recall my camera being submerged in rain water in my bag for G20...
they still fixed it after a few weeks, slacked and so had to repair the 2nd time around

    Yuck please fix the kerning...
The O and G are touching. Yuckie.
And they look like you have stretched them wider... if thats the font then flick the font it's wack.
Lean adobe illustrator and kern your letters properly.
ALso, if those lines are for positioning sweet, but if not, get rid of them!

I don't understand you. Why are you selling it? There is NOTHING on the market better than the D7000 right now... Even in the pro lines... The D7000 has higher resolution, better ISO handling, its made of steel, it can use AF-D lenses than even my D3S... so why are you selling it?
You have an unhealthy gear obsession. You should sell the D7000 and start over with a Nikon FM or Zorki 4 with no light meter. It will make you appreciate photographer rather than photography gear.
You need to learn more about photography and less about gear. I'll bet you couldn't use a camera effectively without a light meter because you have no idea about light. These are things you need to be concentrating on, not on full frame this and latest gear that.

I have shot film before and it was without a meter because the battery was dead in the camera. But i embrace technological advancements and use a meter. i want to sell it because A- it will be a huge profit for me and B- i dont like the fact thats its fucking up.
