fuck raves (for the most part) i used to do that shit so much. dever has big ass raves. it would consist of loud music, lots and lots of fucked up people and weird ass vibes (unless your rolling balls, but that goes for anything rolling balls). usually the music can be cool tho. last rave i went to got teargassed and shut down by riotsquad ALTHOUGH some raves can be dope. i went to one in this small ass wearhouse with like 200 people. goa/psytranse. had a cut up screen with alice in wonderland clips playing on it, some kind of light reactive fabric and LEDs to draw on it with (met some writer from seattle there) with a ton of other fun shit, and was laid back as fuck. and if you wore a hat you got $5 off. the acid made it pretty cool too. other than that, fuck raves.

I have done the whole drug rave thing and in the end you realize that its a waste of time. The people there usally have no ambition in life and if they do they soon realize that all they are doing at raves is frying their brains and wasting their life. I just disagree with rolling period...nothing good can come from it. It is a mind altering drug not a mind expanding drug. The last fews raves I have went to I regreted going. I looked around at all the people and couldnt help but think this is the reason are country is so fucked up. A herd of sheep who cant see past the lights in front of their face.

Hardstyle IS terrible. I saw Steve Aoki not too long ago, and he put on a good show. It was fun. Im seeing LA RIOTS and Felix Cartal on friday. Felix absolutely kills it live. wow this thread just came up now.. nice i mix alot of electro/house music its alot better and that repetative hardstyle etc.. and raves are great if you go for the love of music ive been to about 50+ raves in the past year or so but im taking a big break right now and starting up my producing and making some new promo mixes for abit until i get back into the scene..

right now im using cdj mk2 800's with a djm 800 and pioneer efx 1000 sync'd with serato and im moving right now and everythings packed up at my place but once im moved in which is in a few days and not here at my friends i can upload some mixes for sure
