you said youve messed around, but tharts all you can really do. everyone has their own tech;s youll get your own. but as for fill ins, gotta find a decent paitn and good cap. for quick throw ups in a risky place i usally do letters or what ever in the color i want them and fill it. (with a med or fat cap) then hit the out line with usally a black with a thin cap.
