In my opinion, stickers are handy for the daytime, but it shouldn't be the only thing you do. I dont tend to put much effort into mine because they get torn down quickly. I know people that spend hours on theirs though. Its some Ill shit, but it sucks when somebody takes down your hours of work in a couple seconds.
4 I would agree with this. I love the attention to detail... but I average 3-4 minutes per sticker and often times less depending upon how simple it is. That isn't a whole lot of time at all, IMO. If it gets torn down, fades, gets ripped off, etc, etc... I'm not feelin' too bad about it. I respect the guys that spend hours on one sticker, but that just isn't my thang.
you could say the same thing with someones piece on a wall.. can spend hours n hours doing such a beautiful wall.. then BAM some toy comes a long and caps it.. just like some retard coming along ripping a sticker off.. its all part of the game. stickers are only 1 part of the game.
I spend like 10-30 minutes on each sticker depending on whether I want to add characters next to the bomb and everything. My stickers are generally made up of a colored bomb, an alien looking character spray painting the sticker and then a tag in the corner as a universal signature. I like sticker tags because if someone truly hates looking at one because it's a piece of shit they can just rip it down. That's why there is no need to cut your own stickers, just make a new one if it gets ripped.
These are some stickers I made These aren't great but I wanted to mess around with white and black color schemes and mix up my style a bit.
These are my primary characters. I call them big mouths but it really doesn't matter. I didn't consciously do this but they seem a bit like a demented version of domo. I generally draw them with spray cans.
Okay this is the last one I'm gonna post here for a while, it's my more basic sticker structure. The colors kind of suck but I had been doing a lot of typical color clashes and got bored of it. If anyone wants to trade stickers I'm down
