i use projector paper. that clear thick plastic shit. just throw your image underneath and cut. the nice thing about it is it rarely gets jacked up from lots of use.
thats genius, im gonna cop some from school. im having a really hard time coming up with ideas for stencils. is it better to come out with lots of simple-medium-ish ones very often, or stick with the same, more difficult design for a longer period of time?
yeh. grab all the projector paper and see if you like it that way. its easier to copy exactly what you want that way. i dont know...ive always done it that way. its like tracing paper.
You will see. If you get used to folders like I did for the last couple of years, that acetate overhead projector sheet stuff cuts alot differently. I like how I can see through the stuff when I do a dual layered stencil. But I dont like the way it cuts and you have to tape certain areas off if you use the thing more than once with a dual layered projects. I got a canvas piece that was... 4 layers I think. Did it correctly the first time all with manilla folders. Dont recommend it though. Its hard to know if its lined up exactly. If you need any help with it let me know. Stencils are all I do anymore now that I almost got busted a week ago.

Are you sure? it looks like an N to me.. if it was a K, I'd imagine the top branch would go a little deeper in.
