It's a great car and all.. but it's a "Nissan GT-R" Yes I know it's supposed to be the new skyline, but that car and driver link only calls it a Nissan GT-R. And way back when it was just a concept, it held the Infiniti name as the Infiniti GT-R. I wouldn't really call it the R35 Skyline GT-R. Edit: No beef, by the way.. I just like talking and debating about cars. And on a personal note, I don't think they should give it the Godzilla brand name anyway. It's using a V6 engine instead of an Inline 6, and the G35 Platform, apparently, instead of building off the old R34 Bodystyle. But it is a gorgeous car and wouldnt mind owning one at all.

Skylines in America are very few and far between, they're ridiculously hard to get street legal, and expensive as well. Those who have them keep them locked up a majority of the time, I imagine.

haha, yes our 350z (fairlady) aint worth a damn. the altima and maxima all host the same motor and drive train over here state side. and as far as silvias go we have 240s but they discontinued them i think in like 2001 and yea, in detroit its either chrystler, ford, or gm. or toyota oh yea. we also have acura, i dunno if you got that there in australia. but its like the high end of honda. instead of honda nsx we have acura nsx with about 40 hp lose, instead of honda integra we have the acura rsx. shit like that.... they all blow anyhow

The Nissan scene consists of old S14 and S13s, and older Z models like 240 and 280z's. I think there's a few Datsun 510s still around too.
