    dude
i love the hello kitty with the AK
    thats so fucking funny

and i read the first few pages looking for a recipe
because the art of makign street art posters
    has peaked my interest
    when making wheat paste
do you add wheat flour to water and boil it?
or just add wheat flour to water and stir?
and does the paper need to be water proof for the posters?

and a few more things to add
paintball pods would work good for holding poster parts (people who play paintball or know someone who does know what i am talking about)
and could you put wheat paste in a spray bottle?
i have a bottle of guitar cleaner
i could empty it out and put wheat paste in there
or would it clog it up?

Not neccesarilly "huge", but they're mine. I've got a 5 ft x 12ft almost ready for a billboard that should be sweet. I'll flick it when it's inked.

haha.... Most of that shit's hella old. I've been focusing on paint, stickers, and magnets lately. (if you're curious, magnets aren't legally classified as graffiti in most places. It's considered "posting of an unwanted handbill...;))
Posters are my favorite form of graffiti, because of the attention they get. Posters can be put up in places graff (other than tags) can't , and they aren't as obligatory so people actually notice them if they're clever. Want to get a name for yourself fast and with less work? Consider posters. The general public is decensitized to bombs and tags. A clever poster gets them talking, but don't go the same old route and talk about politics and war. Nobody cares. Say something they don't expect you to.
Example- The billboard I'm doing is my bear karak eating an ice cream cone and sitting in a flower patch looking all cranky and 6 ft. long type next to it reads "quit mean muggin'.." That's the kinda shit that makes people laugh and talk about it.

these i actually had screen printed myself.. the trick to wheat pastin is, the thinner the paper, the BETTER. Newspaper type are the best...they stick for a LONNGG time if you do it right. On top of that, if you add a another layer of Acrylic on top of it, it'll keep it coated from rain, snow, w/e. I've had these up for almoust 8 months now. What I do is go to like craft stores or w/e, and they sell rolls of newspaper prints..and just take those up, screen print on them or even use my own stenicls and use em'. I try to avoid the markers n such, because it tends to fade quicker and drain out from the moisture. And if u wanna be cheap, just take old yellow pages books and rip those out and use those for wheat pastes. THose are REALLY good.

Magnets? Thats some crazy shit Cezr, actually, not a bad idea............

But I love those pastes, I don't like the one you did with brown paper though. I don't know why, I'm just not feeling it.

I need to get into wheatpaste, I've only done it 2-3 times.

for repeatable large posters you should get into silk screening, stencils can be okay too

Method- I hand draw shit small. Then I use a projector to blow it up real big, trace it, and ink it with Magnums. You can use paint pens, but for the postering on a budget, magnums will last for a long time, you'd be suprised. I spray matte acrylic coating over the top of the finished product before taking it out to post ( hold it at least 8 or so inches from the poster and mist or you'll bleed the ink)... I'm really not sure if the coating helps. I just do it cuzz I figure it does. I've also tried additives in the paste, but I'm not a big fan of them. A couple posters I just did freehand without a projector, and didn't like them much, like the bear with the helmut. Projectors are great, but you can also use Rastorbator. ( I think there's a link at the start of this thread somewhere)
Stencils aren't a bad idea, but they're a bitch to make. How would you silkscreen a 5 ft. tall image? I work as a screenpinter and the largest screen we have is less than 3x3ft. My new poster is blowing all my old ones out the water, but I can't find my Magnums to ink it. Life sucks.

Clone- I like your style. Pretty fresh.
