i watched remio paint when i was in grade 6, i was amazed, and have been ever since. i do it for the amusement of others. its still a mystery to some.
I don't really get the concept of fame, I mean that some people think that you'll be super famous and people who don't do/know nothing about graffiti will be like "wooooow". But 98% of people people won't even see it, they know it's there, but they don't care, most of the people can't read what the tags say, and even if they to, they don't really care enough to read them. People don't like and care about shit that they don't understand. I think that people only have a look on super massive destruction with the feeling "what an asshole was that, fucking everything up" .. or some big murals or stencils, because there are characters and colors or something that they like, but they still have no understanding what the pieces say. So basically you're famous in the community of writers, which isn't very big, but it depends where you live. I think that writers know that, but just to brake some myths like "oh shit i went bombing last night, i bet that everybody were like "wwoowwww that's super coool" in the morning, hell yeaahh i'm a new star" type of shit.. there are some exeptions, who are very famous, but most of ya will never do that good stuff, have some crazy new ideas or write long enough to get to that point. I personally do it because the feeling I get, it makes me feel alive. It's an ultimate satisfaction when you finish something very good and out do yourself. I don't really care about the fame that I might get, sure it's nice to time to time get props and here something motivating, but I think it's totally pointless to do it just for do be "famous" .. nobody dosen't care. Excuse me for the bad english.
i fuckin love everything about graffiti...bombing and piecing...why not do it for both? It's real nice to paint chill spots in the day and be very intricate with your pieces...but crushing shit at night is a great feeling as well.
