Im a Bronx native who was lucky to grow up around some of the most influential crews based out of NYC in the late 80’s. I grew up on East Tremont and Webster Ave which crews like BT,UW, FX, and HR had full productions with simple and technical pieces that drove me crazy at the age of 9. By the time I was 13 I had a good understanding of painting, so I went out bombing and painting Amtrak walls to get my skills up. I was sent away for 3 years of my life to prison which I focused more in my drawings. It wasn’t til 1999 I then touch paint again but could not get my piece to look at the quality of pieces on paper. From 2000 til present I have not stopped painting, I was able to paint next to just about every crew and artist I looked up too. Every time I get to a wall its a challenge to stand out, have a more creative piece, and still work with what’s going on around my name. I never bring a sketch to the wall, 95% of everything I do is freestyle down to the color schemes I pick.
I greatly appreciate Bronx Team, my brothers for over 20years who gave me my first opportunity on a wall when I came home. My crew KIS for always pushing limits in all aspects of graff. Shouts to my LSP and TFS fam for all the support over the years and my new wave of circle SHK…..I thank everyone who has given me a spot on the wall and everyone who was a non believer….gotta love the haters too…lol
