Berst

I’m based out in Auckland, New Zealand and I began bombing in 2002 but started piecing in late 2006. In the early years, the evolution of my style has developed from the foundations of graffiti in New York and Los Angeles. These days the inspiration is hard to pin-point because there is so much incredible graffiti coming from so many places. I also have a huge interest in comic books, illustrations, and cartoons. For the most part, I’m still trying to paint wild style pieces but integrate some astro fat cap elements and try to break away from traditional letter forms. I haven’t been as active as I wanted to be because of other commitments but I have also shifted a lot of my focus to documenting New Zealand graffiti and pushing the culture in video format.
