My handle is BOGUS I rep GMF. If I’m feeling art blocked I’ll switch it up with a side name XAMPL, just to grease the wheels a bit. Born and raised on the west coast of Canada, Vancouver Island. Around 03′ some buddies from school introduced me to graff. We came up together in our awkward toy years, helped each other learn different painting techniques, which colors worked well together. Initially I would only paint characters but eventually I caught the bug for letters, didn’t start piecing till around 2011. Honestly I don’t know what “my style” is, I’m never satisfied with my letters so they’re always morphing into something different, at times unreadable ha. I think a lot of comics and cartoons influence my style though for sure. I started out an artist before I wrote graffiti so as much as I enjoy doing pieces, rocking a character just comes easier to me cuz I’ve been doing it longer. I’m a fan of a lot of graphic artists/graff writers, too many to list off but I’m always getting inspiration from their work, helps push me to try new things.
