Mr CENZ is a London based graffiti artist who has been scribbling on surfaces since 1988. Working from portrait photographs he creates futuristic and mysterious compositions. Fusing together photorealism, illustration and graffiti, his distinctive style layers intricate and flowing letterforms, shapes and line work in a uniquely rhythmic way.

Love Pulp
I’d say my style is based on my efforts to create a sense of realism with a cartoon or animated image. Definitely influenced a lot by watchin cartoons my whole life. I think my tattooing and graffiti are molting together when I work on characters. I think People like Hombre and Smug, really push the envelope with their characters and imagery, and thats what I’m shooting for.

I try take a “realistic abstraction” approach to my work with the drips and fades etc signifying the decay of our wildlife.
