I started doing graffiti by the end of 1999 in Lisbon. I was 14 yrs old and just following the graff boom and loving to handle a spray can. As time goes by, I understood that I had to develop my own style. I think my actual style is a “cocktail” of many influences during all these years, the majority from traditional graffiti and sharp shapes.
I draw my letters based on my own conception of balance and flow, making the letters speaks from themselves, minimizing the use of another elements. My all time favorite writer is Can2. He made me understand what having a style is all about.
So many others like the MSK, FOURS, LOVELETTERS, MadC, Boogie, Bates, Aches, Asmoe, Bonzai, Odeith, Motick, Rasko, Amuse, Merlot, are also artists I try to always follow the works. During this year 2018, I am challenging myself in #notwritingmyname, doing freestyle pieces with tags from artists/friends I admire. This is helping me to find new forms, new ways to build letters and make the style be above your name.
