I write debate and rep LORDS aka tfl aka the fucking lords and 640 mobb. I’m from the bay area California. Been trying to stay in this graff shit for a few decades. My style is ever-evolving and I try to constantly push myself. My philosophy on graffiti is to be all in.. be true.. be humble.. and be clean. Try to add something to the game.. contribute in some way. As a kid watching style wars I noticed the movie had 2 major points of view; 1. The clean piecers and 2. Caps “destroy all lines. Imo most writers fall into those 2 categories.. the clean side doing fancy colorful pieces and the grimey side doing throws/bombs, tags. I always felt why not do both? The writers I’ve enjoyed the work of are to me those that are “writers” and do it all. What I mean by that is taggers tag, bombers bomb, piecers piece, freight heads kill trains, a ” writer” in the truest definition. If it can be defined, can and does..all of it..they tag..they bomb..they piece..they catch freights..in some ways this philosophy has hindered me in ways of “popularity” but that’s my approach to this. I just hope fools look back one day and say “dudes active, he clean.” One thing I will give an opinion on is some, even some famous, or with many follows and likes, never put any work in. to me it’s important.. just like a tattoo artist should be an apprentice..or a doctor go to med school …do some street shit..catch a hot boy spot..if u scary dont do it..If you can’t paint with rusto or cheap paint, then learn to, learn foundation ..i
just don’t feel anyone who never went through the tags and throws faze..a A lot of people on ig completely skip that..to each his own..I don’t judge ..but my advice for anyone starting or wanting to do this..put in the work and you’ll get what you want out of it, respect is earned ..shout out to my lords Familia.. 640 mooobbb ..and to the yay for giving the game so many talented writers and inspiration over to my crews and may the graff gods forever let us fet away .rip bizr..bugs..excel..ezr
