I’m “Drik the Villain” and I started doing graffiti in Berlin in 1994 and I still live there. I’ve been writing Drik since 1996. In the first few years of my journey, I was more focused on bombing. When I looked at the old overkill magazines and saw the great pieces at the eastside gallery around the year 2000, I was very motivated to make full-color pieces. From that moment on I tried a lot of different things, drew with lots of different people and visited a lot of cities. I’ve been constantly working on my pieces to improve my style, find out what I’m good at and how to work with it to get the best out of myself. Nowadays inspire me futuristic stuff, 80‘s illustrations,cover-art, brutal architecture, Pop-Art, Comics and many other thing’s, all of these influences are reflected in my style to make it look the way I like it . as long as it makes me happy I will go on and see where the journey goes…….
