Dvote – Howdy Bombing Science! Thank you for reaching out and asking me to share some words; I started painting in southern California in 2008. I met Uter in high school, we started painting together all the time, and eventually formed Charles in 2009-ish. At that time Kub and Augor we’re both really big influences, Also Ewok, Tyke and Craola, .. Bernie Wrightson And HR Giger, were all very influential early on. .. Style wars lol. I’ve always tried to paint in a way that feels fluid or flows naturally to me, organic. These days I pretty much only care to paint pieces/burners. To me, personally, that’s what it’s all about. I love when a piece can tell a story, or has a strong thematic element within it. I love watching friends and other writers pushing their personal boundaries, flexing new styles, trying new things, and ultimately watching styles evolve over time. More recent influences include; Fishing, Nature, Zwon, Isrek, Totem, and of course, the Charles Family is a constant source of support and inspiration. Thanks everybody.
