I write EKOSE, I am originally from Mesa Arizona but I am now living in the PNW. Growing up painting I’ve had so many influences near and far but one that hit me the hardest was a production I saw by Such one that was in the Westwood high school handball courts, everything had so much style. After that NG crew specifically Fyc, 21Rak, Kaper they were the guys I saw locally. From there outer influences I was in no way connected to MSK’s, Pornostars crew, etc… there were just ways they were presenting their work that really hit for me. Of course though, in the beginning, you’re lucky if you saw graff that was good, then came the videos, the mags so on and so on so there is so many influences, gundam, shit city life and landscapes, depression, all that shit. I never took art or art classes in school or anything and only a few people showed enough love to hand knowledge down where it was needed and they mean the world to me Serk2, Culpa Tm7 Pfe, just to name a couple of close ones. I am a style writer, vandalism comes with the territory but that’s not my main focus I want to push limits and style in an attempt to push others to keep challenging themselves to come correct in a certain way with their creative approaches. Make the best of those spots. Treat them well. Treat each other well because times are tough and shit sucks. If you don’t feel that then do you. My style is mech-based it’s a mix of euro, east, and west I try to embrace many aspects of our culture to show love to those who grew these techniques for us to expand on!
