I started writing graffiti back in 1995, and was lucky enough to get connected with all my favorite writers in the area. Representing Entering New Dimension crew and Under The Influence here in Sacramento California.
My roots were heavy in the fr8s during 90’s. We were painting like 2-3 nights a week, and had a super yard but it closed up around the 2000’s. Back then we thought only other writers would see trains, but luckily they started popping up all over. I still get dm’s of old trains people catch. It’s like collecting baseball cards for some people, and I agree!
As a crew and coming from Sacramento we always wanted to focus on quality and legibility, while keeping graffiti tight. Not that sloppy and quick can’t look great, but there’s something about showing that extra love to your work. My goals for the future would be to continue traveling and painting with my favorite writers. I’d love to visit Canada and Europe, NY is still heavy on the hit list.
I wanna give a shoutout to all my fam here on the West Coast and to folks benching train graffiti. Mad respect to all my 40 year old writers, yeah we in that club…
