Graffiti granny
This is a funny story... Catch the graffiti granny!
An interesting read on NZ graffiti. I'm totally biased, but of course I agree with those architects. A city without graffiti is loosing its soul and it's obviously not good for business and tourism. Think of any great city you would like to visit (in the Western world at least), most of them and probably all of them have a strong graffiti scene.
Ecko is going global by launching a graffiti competition in Saudi Arabia. I like how the article is describing graffiti: "Graffiti art (or vandalism, depending on your view and the quality of the work)"... this is such a nonsense statement! Journalists should at least take the time to open a recent dictionnary once in a while.
"His designs were scanned into a global database designed to catch so-called " offenders" who have sprayed graffiti in more than one country..."
