I wouldn't go that far Jetpack, that first Meens is a nice funky simple. Stick with that style right there.
true, i was paying attention to the second picture. but my way would probably be easier and faster. in fact im gonna check word to see if they have any cool fonts.
Well as I said, I was just messing around with changing letters. I usually whip out shit in the first style. Sometimes add a few extensions but never too much.

The only thing i like is the E all the other letters have little structure at all... oh well keep sketching
I don't like the second at all but it's good that you're experimenting. Advice for the first one would be to make the lines smoother and the left leg on the M is really weird.
toki move the letters closer together. its good that your starting with simples. youll get better faster that way
You got style Fable, but that tag looks way to over complicated, get rid of all that crap around it, and work on it abit more. (Saying that i like the tag in the bottom corner)

try to go with some diferent letter forms and dont worry to much about color till you got a sweet form down
