i wrote an 8 page paper on jeffrey dahmer sophomore year in high school. haha. if you want some weird shit, read about albert fish. not necessarily the most prolific, but he's on some weird shit.
just recently read choke by palahnuik, it was great currently reading a clockwork orange sherlock holmes stories are great lol i hate how if i had chosen to read the books i read for school, i would have liked them, but school ruins it. oh well
My all time favorite novel I have ever read was, "All Quiet on The Western Front" written by Erich Maria Remarque That book will change your perspective on life once you read it...well worth the read, even for those who hate reading. It's just a great war novel and will have you at the edge of your seat as you turn each page. I've read soo many dam AP novels due to the fact that I'm in AP Literature. The majority of the books i didn't like though, only a few really impacted me. ~~Most of all the worst thing I have ever read was the play "The Skin of Our Teeth" written by Thornton Wilder. It's supposed to be a famous book that's really comical, but I just down right hated it. If you ever see that book on your AP list for school, then cross it off right away !
im always down for some new HARRY POTTER!!!! or LORD OF THE RINGS!!!! or CHRONICLES OF NARNIJA!!!!! or CRONICLES OF THE HARRY RINGS!!!!!
another couple of good books are The Doors of Perception/ Heaven and Hell by Aldous Huxley...pretty much about experimentation with mescaline also The Electric Acid Kool-aid Test not sure whos that by off the top of my head Huxley also wrote Brave New World which is also worth picking up
Dean Coontz, Brad Meltzer and right now im reading a book on physics and the superstring theory by Michio Kaku.
I like Murder mystery, SciFi, and Fantasy. Jim Butcher, Douglas Preston and Linclon Child, R.A.Salvatore C.S.Goto etc..
michael moore is a fat retard whos not happy unless he can find a soapbox to preach on. thats what my uncle says anyway. ive been really into hunter s. thompson since i was most of your guy's age. 15-16. read the rum diary or fear and loathing, now THAT was a man who truly didnt give a fuck. totally inspiring.
Irvine welsh. trainspotting and porno. good books. mondays are red is also pretty good but aimed towards slightly younger - 16/17. the butcher boy by patrick mccabe is an excellent book. theres a film out aboot it but nowher near as good as the book. the five people you meet in heaven is another i liked. and fahrenheit 451 by ray bradbury is a meaty wee book as well. and for some reason a keep goin back to readin flowers for algernon. dont know why haha. a would defo recommend all of these beasts.
i read this, i liked how it was from the point of veiw of a retard uhh devine comady is dope but tough work
Dude props to everyone who read The Curious Incident Of the Dog In The Night Time... good book. But my favorite book is The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. That shit may save your life some day.
1984? That's about some dude and the thought-police, about 3-4 continents at war with eachother, right? I know that's kind of vague but i'm pretty sure I've read this book. Who wrote it?
George Orwell wrote 1984... I love that book! But the ending pissed me off SO much. Brave New World was perverted and weird... which is usually a good thing but I dunno... lol.
