i've watched one episode of dexter and it seemed like its a slow show...haven't really given it a chance since then but i always hear people saying good things about it..maybe i'll give it a second chance

 

^Every episode is an hour long, but they do cover a lot in each episode, unlike Dragon ball z episodes. That show was the slowest shit ever, i remember some episodes just being all talk and how pissed off Goku was.

 

it starts off pretty homely but as it gets deeper into it you got problems with corrupt mexican politicians, kilos of tar heroin and standover men polishing DEA agents faces off with orbital sanders

if gilmore girls has that sorta shit in it then them gilmore girls are tough bitches


and with dexter....or any hbo show really...you gotta catch a few episodes before it gets hooks into you

 

hahaha dragon ball z, loved that show as a kid though, just remember coming home from school everyday just so stoked to watch it then the whole episode was goku powering up his spirit bomb

 

I've seen every season but the first one me brew.
My girlfriend loves the show, I just think its geared a little more towards women.
The dialogue in the show is "cute" for lack of a better word. Nancy is the worst mom ever, she's a huge slut, she sells drugs to support her children, she even has her own kid deal for her, and she's self centered. Shes easily the most unlikeable person in the show, and she just happens to be the main character.

This last season was a huge stretch, it seems like the writers are running out of ideas, things fall into place with no real explanation, its just way too convenient.

The best characters in the show are the comic relief, Doug and Andy. There are some funny parts like drive-by's in a Prius, and big toe porn, but other than that I just find my self hating the mom more every episode.

curb is good stuff, i had a hard time getting into the wire..kinda slow. at least season one
was into the shield for a few years.
