It's time I've started working on my handstyle. I've been doing a lot of daylight bombing. I hate doing small throwies now. I always find myself going bigger and bigger. But some walls I see in good spots are of good size, just not big enough for a throw or even a two piece. I don't wanna' cramp it. I wanna' improve my handstyle so I can still leave my name and claim some more turf. So my biggest problem is this...when I first start, I'm all like slow and not flowing. But when I get to the W and T and UNO, I get a little flow going. I dunno' whats going on there. Where do you even start in the world of handstyles? Give me some rules about add-ons. I don't wanna' be gaudy, but I want some kinda' flair for big walls. I wanna take up all the room I can. Sorry the pictures came out dark.
it looks like ur taking ur finger off the can too much... just practice and ull get a flow. im no expert but it looks like ur tryin to flare ur letters, id start with something easier and get that down pat so u have some fresh shit in ur arsenal at least, that way ur not experimenting on surfaces that people are gonna see hah... building handstyles takes a loooooong time, if u just take a tag from paper that u like and try to paint it its gonna look like shit until u practice and get the flow down, but thats just how u haveta do it, or just practice ur abcs and come up with something original so u know how to write more than ur own name
I think I feel you on taking my finger off too much. I keep doing it letter by letter. And pulling away, I think that's why I get that flare impression cause I'm not trying to flare. I just keep getting close and far away when I speed up my can control. You think I should like try and do all the letters without taking my finger off the valve? And should I do each letter individually or try and get them to flow into each other so I don't have to take my finger off? Thanks for the help.
some tags look good just being one-liners basically... but thats like the opposite of what u were doin so im sayin go in that direction when u work on ur tags... some shit like flares look real good when u just spray in spurts and move really fast... find a good medium i guess, but practicing one-liner tags would help u with speed and give u a better feel for the tips and cans ur using
Word, word. I been using a NY Fat but I have to say I am a big fan of German Outline 2 just because it feels so sensitive. And I definitely prefer a fresh can of paint. It feels kinda' crappy below half full.

rewt - nothing flows at all, go look at other peoples handstyles and see how they flow compared to yours. it looks all jumbled.
