yup. my butthole still hurts from watching it.

Europa league today. i don't know what they bother with this league for, i don't like the fact that early champions league rejects end up there.

i like that teams from smaller leagues get to participate on the continental scale, but fuck. what's the point if they're going to have to play Fulham, Liverpool, or Wolfsberg?

anyone here watch MLB? LET'S GO BLUE JAYS! we're going to suck balls this year.... i already know that.

Phillies are my team, I like the giants too. As far as AL goes I root for the mariners and royals.

Dude you're from Atlanta(at least thats what it says) and you're rooting for the phillies? What is wrong with you? You should be a Braves fan.

My team, the Mariners, can't score any runs. Some how they think that we can win games with only pitching and defense. Oh well its early still.

i was at the jays home closer last year and we played the mariners.... Ken Griffey got a good loud applause for the one inning he came out for.

yeah dude. i hope you're from philly or something. it really bugs me when people don't support their city.

especially here in toronto where we got a tonne of yankees and bosox fans.

I'm sorry for you, the mariners are going to be terrible this year.

My Giants are cleaning up though. Can't argue with the best pitching rotation in baseball!

We're still building up, I think we've grown a lot since the fateful 2008 year. Ichiro and Figgans at the top of the line up has lethal potential but we don't really have anyone with enough pop to bring them home. Griffey still has some left but he's mainly around to help with clubhouse continuity, make the guys laugh, share leadership with Ichiro, and pinch hit in clutch situations. If we're out of playoff contention by July it will be interesting to see who we can get in a trade for Cliff Lee. Maybe we can bring some power to Seattle.

For whatever its worth I consider the Giants our national league sister team. I see a lot of similarities between the two. While the 4-0 start is surprising, I'll be even more surprised if your guys can win the division this year.

4-0? Salvo, you can read the future?

well i guess if the braves just lost to the Cubs that it's fair to say they'll lose to the giants tomorrow.

i'm missing Halladay like crazy.... fuck. dude has an RBI already too. haha

hmmmmm it's possible because Barca have had more games in the last couple of weeks.
but i don't know. gonna be a hell of a game that's for sure. they're both tied for first right now, i don't know what the goal difference is though.

Barca vs Real Madrid this saturday? My mouth is watering.
They're probably the two best teams in Europe but I think Barca will pull it off. I've seen a bunch of Madrid games this season and it seems like the team doesn't really work together but they still manage to pull out a win when an individual(Ronaldo most of the time) steps up. The Uefa loss to Lyon was a great example of them not playing together.

I live in Atlanta, from Philly tho. Brothers are from Philly. Mom moved to Philly when she was real young from Taiwan. Grandparents from Philly. Dad moved from Jersey to Philly after college. Job promotion placed Philly to CT to Atlanta. So that's how this philly fan found himself living in ATL.

Mmm..I'd say the Giants of a couple years ago are your sister team. That team the year after Bonds left. Same sort of imbalance between pitching and run support.

The Giants have been predicted to do pretty well this year. LA is loaded though, aside from the Dodgers I don't see a lot of competition.

The only guy I get nervous about is Zito. He wasn't terrible last year, but he can only throw two pitches now and his fastball is atrocious.
