slit i like that quote nd when i say burn i mean with paint because remember you dont burn sketches....and if your down for the battle you know im always downn but yo kanz you tryna exchange?
At a glance, it's dope. But when you look closer, it needs mad work, especially with the sugar skull design. The "cloud" looking things around the eyes should all be touching the inner circles, not doing their own thing. The Angels A should be facing the same direction she is, so it seems to be in the middle of her forehead, not on the side, facing us. The designs should also be symmetrical, while the ones you have going on are asymmetrical, and look like random squigglies. The upside-down heart shouldn't be curved in that direction, unless the other parts of that are curved as well. The lips should be shaded.
i can tell you havent been drawing very long. because you lay down the hardlines then smother it over in the direction you wont it to face. giving it that look of the angles are at a distance. SIGH* Youve got alot to learn toys.
slit thinks hes better than everyone cause he goes to college for art!!! how cool!!! hes a art major!!!! he must feel so good about him self that kids that didnt pay 20000$ to waste their money to learn how to draw could still burn you....your the man i must say. hope your homie gets ink poisonin from that tat BRO
You best be trolling, ******. I just spoonfed you a bunch of good crits, and you call me a toy? I'm looking at the perspective of the eyes. The A is off-center. It doesn't look good.
Add enough cholo shading to any sketch and it'll look good. the only part that I can't do well is drawing the cloth folds from memory.
Fellas Fellas no need to fight Slittt6 your ideas from your "inspirations" are more likely to being called a bite. Not hatting but... Here are two of pieces that are very similar to yours [Broken External Image]:http://i581.photobucket.com/albums/ss260/someguyok/art1.jpg [Broken External Image]:http://i581.photobucket.com/albums/ss260/someguyok/DSCI1643.jpg Phillip gave you some very noble advice, there is no need for you do get defensive. There are many ways to draw, and that is only one technique, cross hatching for example requires no smudging or smoothing of ones lines.
