Just found an AF 70-300mm 4.5-6 nikkor at a garage sale for $70. Decided it was cheap enough to be worth it.

started classes at my pre college art school for photography, unfortunately, everyone else in the class is beginners so I'm just re-learning all the shit I already know. We had to stay on the property of the school and shoot. Here's what I got out of it. Boring shit man.

I started shooting in RAW cause elements 8 takes NEF files. I'd suggest buying pse8 if you can't throw down the money for cs5. The differences are minimal.

I dunno' much about medium format/film/Seagull though. I should have just bought it and resold it. He had a lot of good stuff at really good prices.
I was mostly interested in his lighting equipment but he sold it all right before I got there.

i did a precollege art thing last year for painting, it was a real good experience.
and you should shoot film since your at school and you can use their darkroom fo freeee

and ak i would feel like a fool walkin around with a camera like that

I'm finally getting back into the habit of leaving the house again (fucking work has been keeping me down.)
As usual, no post-processing on the lx3, just a bit of crop.

so do you guys usually just carry your camera with you whenever you leave the house, or do you tend to only take it out when your gonna go somewhere to shoot?

i usually keep my d40 in the car or carry it, and i take my electro 35 when i go somewhere ineresting, or go out for the purpose of shooting. which really doesnt make much sense now that ive put it in writing.

always take it with you if your taking it serious.

 

I always have my G11, and sometimes I'll bring along my FE2. For serious shooting I'll leave the G11 and bring the D300s. Always have a camera though

 

Some medium format stuff... can't get enough of it. I'm gonna be stocking up on 120 film.
