[Broken External Image]:http://images.rapidhate.org/d/5772-1/xa002.jpg This pic was wayyyy overexposed. Not sure if it was the camera that fucked up or if I timed the development wrong (can't find times for pan100 on the massive chart.) Anyway, I love film, because I was still able to salvage it. edit: this is what it looked like raw: [Broken External Image]:http://images.rapidhate.org/d/5775-1/xa003.jpg
that doesnt mean anything to me. I have a d60 and i shoot raw. i think you should be able to. but im not really sure too high to research.
what are the chances of having the camera still fly under the warranty radar if its been soaked? ive left it to dry out. it turns on, displays pictures from the SD and the meter and eberything else works. the only malfunctions are the AF doesnt lock and most importantly, it does not take pics (gives an error on the screen) its a canon if that helps
saw my cat in my sisters room. and then bart. decided to flick. trying to work with field of depth a lil.
You made the mistake of turning it on. You should have left it to dry next to a heater or dehumidifier for at least a month. As soon as you turned it on it would have shorted out from being damp. This works for phones too.
i did the rice thing.. i waited for a week. i was surprised it even turned on! i really wasnt all that hopeful cause when i saw my bag, there was atleast an inch of water in my backpack. picked it up, and the screen had water in it like a fish tank. the shutter wouldnt stop going off until i took the battery out. i leave my camera on at all times(cause it shuts off automatically anyway)
kringe, why are u creepin in your sisters room? haha. what are u using to take the pics? DOF is affected by a few things. the more distance between the subject and background, the better, wider aperture and zooming in also helps. also the white balance looks a bit off. zio- canon won't do much for you. they will probably tell you that you shouldn't have got it wet. Its things like that that make you wish you had a protection plan on it haha. sorry to hear that though man
protection plan isnt the same as the warranty? well, w.e. it was, i bought a protection plan or in store warranty from the camera shop i bought it from. i brought it in today and the guy said theyll ship it off to canon. really hoping they dont notice the water smudge inside the screen... if not, itll be awhile cause ill want a t1 or t2 hookups upstate? lol ill throw in some commission cut
