Night time on manual focus on the 50mm, after that shoot I bought the 35mm. Can't see well enough to know when the lens is in focus. :/
hey PulseWithLife is that in adelaide? if so pm me maybe u know maybe u dont knw of the abandoned hospital?
This is more editing than actual photography, I've posted the original of both of these in the Toronto thread, and they're also on my flickr, but I decided to try out some perspective editing and this is what I came up with. Basically tried to make it look like the Kwota piece was painted on a corner, have a few other revisions but I liked this one the most in terms of lighting, maybe some more experienced photographers can give me some input as to how the darker wall (the one on the right) should look? Or if that is accurate/realistic? The two original pieces can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheeze_/4824056797/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheeze_/4824056393/
Snow Photo is sweet, BAD if that was for a business or for money i would say make sure the shoes fit. A.K. ,, Photos are clean like usual haha, I decided im going to sell my 70-200mm and my fish eye attachment. The kit lens is nice and im going to get the 18-200mm. I want some real advice from A.K. and others. I took these today and I think i was spot on-with the colours, focus, aperture, shutter speed and iso-for most of the photos. I really like how the light comes off the chicken on to my mothers face. The last one has nice colours and it looks crisp. Photobucket and their shitty photo quality... Sorry the subject isn't very spectacular. Here they are, enjoy. colors, focus and iso are all great, except for one thing. nearly all your focal points are in the center. Not always a bad thing, but it's usually not a good thing either. Use your grid.
thanks for the props on the shot, super encouraging to hear you guys like it, those chicken shots are disgusting as fuck, but well done, also good job on the photoshop'd corner, i wouldnt have thought it was shop'd unless i read the description Nother shot, don't like this one as much, little too busy, but i do like how it just focuses on the one girl
Bad thing about digital. Turn on your little rangefinder if you are on a D40 or D60. It will tell you when you are in focus.

It doesnt have to be perfect colors and everything to be a good photo. It's interesting how it focuses on the one girl and the only person looking at the camera is her.
