Cool. So for those of you who use Copic Caio's, how long do you find they last?

if u cant even find spots to paint, dont even tag shit up, stick to the books or practice on drywall til u can move somewhere that doesnt suck lol

exi, about the white markers, u can find decos to rack pretty easily, the whites kinda suck but its the best u can rack for highlights.... unless u get a white out pen, just shake it really good and use it on scrap paper til its flowing out like it needs to be

and copic pads are good for really detailed pieces, but if u arent great at sketching just get a normal blackbook.... always put a piece of paper behind the one ur writing on so u can use every sheet in the book without ink seeping through... also photo paper works pretty well too, it absorbs less ink than paper so u can shade with one color, but sketching out the piece with pencil would ruin photo paper

Yeah it's watercolors. He does it on some thick paper so the water doesn't make it curl and he does the inking with a waterproof pen

Well, if you enjoy painting then probably just paint a board in your backyard for awhile. When you get better then you could probably start searching for trains and bridges and chill stuff to paint. Don't be ashamed at all man, it just takes practice and determination, and over time you'll get there!

exi: well your best bet would be to find an Art store nearby and then go to it and see if they sell Decos, if not just go to walmart or target and rack Sharpies, you don't really need decos unless your tryna do a canvas or a really nice looking piece in a blackbook, but if your just sketching and working on your style get some sharpies.

Does anyone by any chance use a Montana Blackbook with Copic markers? How do they draw on the paper? I'm torn right now between a Montana Blackbook and a Copic Bleed Proof pad, I'd like the Blackbook but I'm drawn to the Copic paper purely because it's designed for Copics and that's what I have.

montana blackbooks are the same as any other one u can get on this site or a r tprimo..... copic pads are made for any prisma-style marker, made to not bleed through and not bend or tear if u wanna go over the same spot a lot for shading or whatever..... just get a normal blackbook, or 10, and fill them up with simps and pieces, then when u have some clean pieces under ur belt u can move up to the copic paper, if ur not really good at piecing itd be a waste of money

No. They aren't going to be able to link it back to you, unless you've been caught before, or if you have your graffiti name anywhere on the internet accompanied with your face.. Just be more careful from now on.

Well, I bought the markers to be used, I just don't want to use them on a paper that's going to suck them dry. 120gsm's quite heavy, so I'm wondering if Copic's paper would be easier on the pens, especially since it's lighter and been designed not to bleed... I'm also wondering how the blackbook's paper will be on the pens also, since I'd rather have the blackbook.

i have a blackbook from walmart that was 8 dollars. i use copics on them plus sharpies and they dont bleed on the next piece of paper. its the way you use the copics that make them bleed.

Not a stupid idea, I use pentel whiteout and pentel 100W for buses and small areas, very good for small areas too. sometime's the bus tries to buff my tag but it shows a ghost, its good.
