@paper215 thanks for the crits I just started doing em last friday and have been tryin to get em down and by tall hands you mean somthin kinda like a kad tag right (real legible and lanky). Again thanks for the feedback lookin forward to seein some of ur stuff.
Exactly like a kad tag... Simple but you can tell where it's from. I don't wanna post my name but gimme a word and I'll see what I can do!
there are videos on youtube on how to take that red nipple off the new krylons and make it a more solid, consistent round line...but thats a pretty cool effect. you filed it down?
some space between your letters would clean it up...connections are good, overlapping not so much. good flow, but im not feeling the star...try single lines instead of loops. and your halo is huge...like a floating hula hoop.
Nice sybe, i like the top left and middle right throws, those sharpnwest coast looking tags lookin cool too, i like those basic straight ones u have around
With a nail filer, yeah. I've seen the videos and when I tried to do it on one of my other cans I guess the knife wasn't sharp enough or something but It completely fucked the spray, I got 2 very spaced out & hazy dots, so I just filed it down.
Hey guys. Ive been practicing letters alot and realized my name Weep was a huge pain in the ass to write consistently every time. Plus i never really liked the way it looked, not to mention it was kinda hard to write quickly. Anyways i was trying some new shit out and came up with XSV, pronounced Ex-ces-sive. Its a quick and smooth name to write too which is another reason i really like it. Havent done much practice with it since i just came up with it but lemme know what u guys think.. P.S it will look alot better once i get this Molotow Burner and can stop using a fucking sharpie
Im not blaming a damn thing lol. If youve ever tried doing a tag bigger than the size of your hand with a sharpie, then im sure you know that you gotta go slower than old people fuck in order for it to not streak and fade. It is what it is man...But with the right marker it could definately look better. Ya Fuck!
But 2 things, 1 you're writing on paper why do you need to do tags bigger than your hands and secondly if you know what you're doing then, no, you don't need to go 'slower than old people fuck ' Its skill not the 'right marker' that makes a good tag
How u gonna learn to tag large enough if you only practice small? And yea im sorry but you do have to go slow with an almost empty sharpie haha. No worries.
if you tag the whole piece of an a4 piece of paper to say does that mean you're practicing to do a tag the size of a whole wall in actual life sized relation its just not needed to use all the paper on one tag when tags usually arent done that big unless u using the tools for it which the majority dont
Yea i normally try to do about 4 good size tags on one sheet. Sometimes i just do a bunch of a small ones to save space. It just depends i guess. But practice is practice right
