No-sleep, I wasn't talking about neoses, I was talking about a flick this SEND guy posted but he deleted it, trust me, it had no structure whatsoever and there were arrows shooting out from every direction.
don't add anymore, take some things away. simplify, be one with the letter. let the letter guide you. but seriously. inb4 keyboard letters.
CIDO it needs more arrows bro, for real though takes arose's advice bout to dump a fat shit in this thread, some oldish and some newish shit, any crits would be cool, need to work on making my lines cleaner
You're pretty well on track, from now on its just a matter of practice. It looks as if a few of the more advanced people in this thread are having trouble adding style. So a tip for all those who aren't quite there yet is to not just do simps, post simps but also every now and again do some stuff with style and don't post it. After a while once your simps are on point you might find that your stuff with style is becoming more solid and some of that style is starting to appear in your simps, keep doing the simps and eventually you'll get to a point where you have a good balance of style and structure at this point it's pretty much just developing something you are happy with. You're letters will always be getting better though. However you should never attempt to jump into a style because it never ends well, if you want to progress fast then you just have to sketch and paint a lot, like for several hours a day. I've been trying to become more versatile with my letters and Steez rather than reproducing the same piece over and over with slightly different extensions. I thought I'd dump it here and see what you guys think before chucking it in the inter thread. I will admit my D is pretty heavily inspired by eidos O
made me think of points from australia he is also known for his destruction all over europe as well as how he used to kill aus wide
@rade: fuck yes. but i would extend the R up higher and thicken up her back. also, the extension off the bottom of the e is making the D look almost like an R.
Not a fan of that man, I keep seeing people telling u to focus on structure and try doing some simple keyboard style stuff and yet u seem to keep posting the same thing
Eh I guess you're right. Idk, I don't really remember anyone saying keyboard letters on the last ones, just saying to drop any extensions and go a little simpler. If you think going back to key board letters would be best then that's what I'll do.
I'm not being horrible or trying to offend you but I really do advice it. When I was told to go simple and work on basic structure I thought people were hating on me but a few months down the line I realise that they were actually talking sense an it's helped me improve a lot in the past 3 months. Just keep it simple for the next month or so just focusing on easy letters with no extensions or unnecessary curves and bends in your letters and I promise u that ul see improvement
Haha I know you're not hating. The help really is appreciated, I guess I just need to take the advice more to heart lol.
