Any aussies in here have experience bombing coal trains? All the shit ive seen just gets buffed. Are they worth it and do some companys not buff?

 

Completely different from over here in (West-)Europe, here freighters don't get buffed. Seen German freighters over here with pieces from back till 2002. Most places where they stay aren't guarded that much either. So safety wise it's better then your usual yard. But for you personally I'd stick with pape, legal spots and easy walls for the next few months. Practice a lot and develope your writing.

Scooting isn't really an option. I'm about 10 miles from the nearest Dollar General, let alone anything else. Anywhere I go I'm gonna have to find a place to park. I'll try parking decently away and biking there though

 

Scooting is always an option bro, just not the most convenient sometimes. Practice on paper before you go out and tag or piece or whatever... well unless you already know what your doing.

 

Like I said in another thread it's been a while since I last used MTN Hardcore spray paint. I'd say almost a year now. Anyone has any recent experience with them? Looking for a possible replacement for my Kobra's and my Montana Black, as the first is a bit difficult to get online over here and the second has been giving me some problems over time. Also, if people have experience with the above, how would you compare them? Main reason I'm asking is because I like MTN and the Hardcores are cheaper then the other two I described.

 

I Painted with 94's in The Netherlands last week and I'd forgot just how slow the paint is. Its nice for chilling and getting some real detail, but My fingers genuinely hurt afterwards. I'm quite used to painting long ass days up ladders etc and never normally moan about fatigue, but MTN 94's are definitely hard work!

Hardcore's are top with good pressure but no chance of getting a good picture in the dark, not much chance in the day for that matter. Gloss paint has always had that issue though.

Montana Black is my go to can if I need to depend on a colour, What problems have you had? Its being replaced by Loop at the min, which I only have good things to say about.. Coverage, Range, Price make it the only sensible choice in the UK.

 

I find them ok. Personally i prefer MTN Speed due to it being easier to use and spray, as well as getting bigger lines and flares, although they do empty faster.

 

This for me too, wide color range and good for its price.

But for bombing or chill throwups I just get Molotow 600s, good pressure and they quite long and are not expensive.

 

MTN94 are my main cans. With hugher surfaces I just use a NY fat or silver fat, with the silver details are pretty tough. For details and the first lines I mostly use the standard cap or the skinny cap. After a long day, painted two big pieces last week, not my fingers but my wrists hurts. Where did you paint over here? You can tell in PM if you're more comfortable that way.

What do you mean about taking a good picture? I mostly take one the night regarding possible buff and try to take more few days later or so when it's day.

I've had several issues with them the Montana Blacks, most of the time it's clogging. Even after shaking for a few minutes it clogs with every cap, obviously not all cans as some do work. A while back I had light brown and it wouldn't cover for even a bit. That while other colours, including darker brown, would do their thing. So that's pretty shit when you have something on your mind. Also the white covers bad overall with me, specially if you compare it to MTN94 or Kobra for example.

 

What do you mean with MTN Speed being easier to use? When I used the MTN Hardcore the period I'd talked about I found them working really well and almost felt like low pressure. With MTN Speed I can always feel the high pressure, even if I'd stick a skinny cap on it. Agree with the empty 'speed' ;-)

 

Is there someone with the name KERS? I swear there is.

 

Theres a Kerz i know of out here. But you can probably bet theres a kers somewhere. Pretty much every name is taken

 

there's a guy from BTM that wrote Kers or Kerse at least thats how I've seen his stuff being put up in tribute of him after he passed.

Would not recommend writing that.

I find the hardcore a bit too slow tbh. When i want a high pressure can i go with a speed, they are pretty good.

I'm also aussie so i dont have a huge range of shit available

Fair enough, I like to do things good so slow isn't a huge problem as I'll just put a bigger cap on it. For bombing yeah, Speed would be better. But I hate the dripping on them.

I don't hav a huge range here as well. My local shop only sells Montana Black and Montana Gold, there's also a small company which sells Molotow markers but that's about it. Rotterdam is like 75 kilometers from here and they have some good shops which sell about everything from Grogs and Uni Posca's to Kobra and Ironlak. But personally I order a lot online, reckon there's a good few sites in Australia will sell paint online?
