Yeah, looks clean. Maybe play around with the fill to give each letter more depth (i.e. warping or distortion)
That middle one technicly is a reg peace the letters are 2d with 3d on them if that makes scence . The letter its self does not appear to come outward or inward .the other ones hit the mark . Just structural letters are a miss but the 3d is good needs more depth (tones of the same color )
Yeah....never have enough tones of the same color when working with paints. Just try to go with what I got!
If you got paints you can mix it . Like acrylic paints or markers. Mix a lil black with the color you got then a lil more and one with whites added . And then you got 4 tones of the one color.. and can get more bye continuing the same process
I ment tubes ...... buttt..... If you have a black with a lil bit in it and a color with a lil bit missing . You freeze the can you want to mix in the freezer for probly 30 mins to a sure that the paint will stay and then you get a straw that fits in the cans (this works well with male to female cans ) place the frozen can upside down on top of the other can and hold it together for 10 second burst . Or another way to blend with spray paint is to lightly dust it either a shade different or with black and white . Cheap paint works great for this cud it's fucking water any ways . Or fill the tops to the paint with the paint and brush it on there.. But that's shit is no way done with spray paint . The fill and background yeah them outlineletters and small details no way . I mean if so then how that shit don't look to big .
The only thing that is not sprayed is my outline. I use markers filled with Molotow marker paint refills for that. Some of the finer details, I use stencils or a few other tricks I know. For the most part though, it is all sprayed. That whole mixing paint in the cans sounds like WAY too much work for me!! If Im planning a piece ahead of time, I generally will order multiple tones for shading and such. All of those pieces were done at my house to practice my can control and techniques. While I DO have a lot of paint, I was still somewhat limited in my choices. Overall, Im pretty happy with the way they turned out!!
Herd, I'd take it back a step. Stick with simpler letters. And skip complex fills, It'll make your pieces look much cleaner. Try for 1 color fills with keyboard letters until you get comfortable. Blockbusters will help too. Just trying to clean up my simps still before anything more. Feeling better with my structure, might try something a little different soon.
Some rough sketches while at work. The piece needs a lot of practice still. I messed up the straight R a bit, right leg isn't wide enough. But I'm kinda feeling my simps lately. Let me know what you guys think
