Looking good man, that's dope. And I'm with you 100%, cheap markers/colored pencils are pretty nice once you get the hang of their quirks (for example, Crayola markers can "layer" on themselves if you do a fill in more than one pass, making it look splotchy). But nothing beats 10 bucks for a shit load of markers or pencils, especially since the colors are usually pretty nice.

quick n dirty 2D doodle to get used to the letter combo. F'd up a bunch of details and the letter s' widths are off. /Edit second attempt. haven't done this semi stuff in quite a while lol. need to work on letters and extensions.
Hey what’s up BT I’m just getting back into the graff scene again after working on more “proper” art for a time. I’ll be sure to keep playing around with that variation tho. I’ve picked up where I left off with my old style and I’m trying to achieve a high speed effect with my letters I couldn’t think of anything before but now I just imagine the letters as people sitting in invisible chairs and going at a high speed. It’s not perfect but it seems to work a bit
