IMO the LB dwarfs the OE and looks like u were tryna do a symmetrical joint but the B extension throws the balance off so id say try and fit in a bar under the E to match B or rearrange the E lower and thatll also fix the size difference.
Like this ? I also tryd to re a range the other bar so it wasn't so angled and matched the other a bit more I wasn't going for 100 percent symetrycal look tho I just assume that is a easy was to flow back to its self
Yea i think that looks a lot better except i like how u did the top of the E on the original post it matched the top of the L very nicely
LROE. There's a lot of good in there but you still have that R as a B issue. Not sure if you took the right side of that left bar of the B and stopped it instead of extending down into the letter, if that might improve the look. You basicaly went symmetrical so would have evened out that left side more to match, but then there's some type of issue that occurs there for you that I've seen in your other sketches where you seem compelled to make it that way. I like that L. Like the connections, the chopped top of the O and how the R, I mean B kind of matches I like & dislike that O, feel like the overall concept is great but be careful not to make that into a Q or S. Looks like you may have tried to add shadow, need a shade or 2 darker orange for that but would help add depth to your letters. Like the riveted look although to be consistent would not put it on the end of your O because the 2 pieces there aren't really together the same way, looks like a bad carpentry job. You missed a line or 2 in your 3D that would help add to the piece. I would mess with the thickness of your 3D when you sketch too. On the top it looks good at that thickness. On the other hand, IMO, it might take away a little in the bottom half because it takes up all the negative space where a less thick 3D will leave some negative space that helps define your letters more- does that make sense how I said that?
I got that same shit on 12 oz but they said the l looked like a j lol so jroe hahah . But thanks on the rest I toatly get what you mean i went to do a bigger 3d but that shit happened and I'm like well a little bit shorter will give it that much more depth but I didn't shade it right . And didn't send 3d off of every point i should have becuse I was doing bigger 3d at first ..Not makeing excuses but tha paper was like felting up (like watter color papper or some shit ) and becoming impossible to add any more markers or color pencils to it so i was forced to stop with the orange shadeing. I toatly agree about that shittt carpentry as well lol . I wanted to look like it wasn't lined up yet .but becus the ones under the other it looks trash and doesn't have the look of a motion in mid action that i was hoping to achive . . Back to the drawing board lol.
A new canvas for my daughter's nursery!! Expecting her any day and thought she needed some proper artwork
yup i totally agree... It is what it is: you win some, lose some. I simply wasn't feeling it that day; was trying too hard to create an ignorant style fused with arabic style while keeping it simple at the same time. Easier said than done... Good luck and congrats on your daughter, but don't front; This is a digital piece drawn on a tablet then laid over a real photo of a blank canvas on Photoshop. In any case, here's a new wall from last weekend with Sberk to make up for that weak Yogi bear prod go paint, guys.
As you can see.....you are wrong bro!! Thanks for the compliment though Thanks for the congrats......actually sitting at the hospital now. She should be born in the next couple of hours This is the final piece for anybody who may have missed what Venom was commenting on! This wall is much better than the yogi piece!! I know what you mean with difficulty of trying to blend diff. styles together. Honestly though, experimenting and just getting up is how you get better regardless of outcome of each individual piece!!
