Flip the swirls on the t. Like the top one faceing the other way and vice versa . give it that stoping feilling or . make it a capital t and extent the bars to cover most other letters . Just a thought . I fucks with it tho . Heres what I did I personaly dont care to much for it.
Check this out. I did a sketch using this font. Peep the serifs dude. you could close up the C and turn it into an o with the pointy thing on the c's side reflected. multiple ways to tackle fonts. Even old English fonts. Just look for fonts with serifs in advertisements or look on Google for em or on dafaont.com where they have plenty of fonts to gain inspiration from.
Thanks bro. I've been transitioning from what I would do before which was just tags and throws to doing straight letters and pieces. It's new to me though. I've done less than 10pieces my whole 12years of writing, but I'm practicing more and more now
Its because the "kno" letters have no negative space while the "t" has negative space on both sides. The horizontal line of the "t" could have been raised above the other letters so the "t" could be squeezed in there with no negative space. Just my 2 cents, still dope
Thats actually really dope ibu. tried to do the extended t, the n now looks like an h lol, didnt like the curvy things at the end insteas tried boxes they look ugly lol. Edit: finished 2nd edit@ tuke i get what you mean now, not extend the horizontal above the letters, just raise it above so the vertical part is closer to the o and keep the same short horizontal length.
That m is really awkward no hate. and the drop shadow is off on the M below the curl thing. too wide. Generally keep your letters the same width. people break this rule, but youre not on that level yet. they either make their first letter wider than the rest or the last letter wider than the rest. you can do wide-thin-wide-thin-wide letters too and various other letter setups. I noticed your R is off too on the first one. newjacks usually have problems making K's and R's cause of that one tricky spot on the right middle side of the K or R, but actually envision the 2 bars merging, if 2 bars merge there is extra space where they meet inside. if you reduce the space where they meet, the structure looks broken because it's like your not drawing where the two bars intersect (the diagonal bar or leg on the K or R) and it looks unnatural.
You're not wrong about the M haha. I do feel like it has some potential though so I'll at least put it on the back burners for now. Thanks for reminding me to keep consistent bar widths too, I was getting a little ahead of myself with experimentation.
You can just move the M's curl further back because that shit how it is now won't flow with any letter because of how fucking huge it is. Something like this.
