I wanted to do multiple layers shadows on the character and glistening hi-lights on the ice letters but, it felt like I needed to finish that before Christmas Eve. The ice letters were a real challenge. Finding good reference was trickier than I thought as most of them were CGI.
The tattoo was too dark so I came in with the dodge and burn tool set to dodge the shadows and now it looks kinda raised which is an added bonus because I was trying to make it look like a ghetto prison tattoo and brothers tend to keyloid anyway which is a type of scarring black people get especially when they get dug out from homemade tattoo equipment.
