Dude I say this to help but that tag is discusting. Make a simple clean straight letter. You need to learn letter structure and fundementals befor you try what your trying to do. Study the fundementals of calligraphy and perfect your print handwriting. Style is something that comes over time and it cannot be forced if you are not ready. If you can learn this you will surpass a lot of people and it will carry on into all aspects of your art.
Dude's not wrong about this, starting with simpler letters makes you learn everything about them, then eventually it's gonna come by itself
The letters are EPHMRL The L is a lot better now but I think i get what youre saying what exactly is wrong with it though like why is it bad
Don't worry about what rolls off your young better. Just choose a word that makes sense. I usually tell kids choose a word thats 4 to 6 letters long. it doesn't matter if it's someone else's name as long as it isn't a dead artist or a legendary artist. IG artists don't count. Good job fixing the L but KEEP IT SIMPLE! MAKE A STRAIGHT LETTER. Style is the enemy of all beginners. You achieve style by fully understanding and mastering the fundamentals. Please take my advice.
Ok thank you I don't think im gonna change the word because I like it (shortened version of ephemeral) but ill work on the letters
Nice meaning but your career is gonna be ephemeral with that name. It's impractical, and nobody is gonna know what your name stands for.
im good with that they don't need to i know what it stands for and im not doing it for other people so whatever
What goes up must come down. What swings to one side must swing to the other. Balance g. Energy travels and its gotta be released↑↑↑ ↓ ↓ ↓
Thanks bro. Really Sorry I didnt give exmples before. Can't beleive I was forgetting that. That 'S" is probaly the best example of what I mean when I talk about the eaqual and opposite motion.
Nah all good i get it now but yeah you want the piece to be balanced. I also found a youtube video that explained extensions really well so i think i get that now too. im working on a piece now but i dont have it with me so i cant post a picture, ill show you when i finish cause it definitely makes more sense than the last one.
I just did this sketch now its really simple but thats usually how I start my pieces i just wanted to ask what you think about this outline?
