My dad works for ABC here in philly (Hence the name) so we have quite a few (he needs them to pick up stories ect.). I'd recomend getting one because you can hear the cops radioing to each other, so you can hear if they are coming your way.
get a bearcat they're great as for the new digital police radios well they have digital scanners. i have an old one somewhere i think. but in ontario it can be a little challenge to get em sometimes. i kno radio shack stopped stocking them in store. yer looking at anywhere from $300+ i think the digi ones are about $500
no i got mine for 100$ from radio shack and i dont just use mine for when i bomb i do alot more crazy shit with friends.
yeah but a cheap $100 scanner is well..cheap..i dunno, if yer gonna buy the tools buy the right tools.it's worth the money to INVEST in a piece of equipment like that. i used to have a link to live online police scanner broadcasts..cant remember where it is tho.

i don't think if cops wanna get you that they put on there flashlights and sirene, they will do it in all silence to bust ur ass u can't really hear a "cop" car coming
My friend use to have a police scanner because he use to sell a lot of weed and coke and he wanted to see if anyone was reporting him... he would only sell during certain times in different neighborhoods.
