i vote for a party who has more chances of winning seats than the parties who i support the most. il vote for the NDP (a more leftist party) as opposed to the Green party (far left) because the ndp is more likely to win seats. What this does is introduces more leftist opposition in the house of commons which in the end is my goal. If i would vote green my vote might help them win one seat but they are not likely to be able to bring much change. As i said before, i am a leftist anarchist so i dont really support any prty whole heartedly however i am realistic and i'll try to bring change through any methods that are offered even if that means voting.

no its more of a personal philosophy however in a small scale i could show you how dedicated people could make it work and currently do. On a large scale its a dream but unrealistic. however we will see how long capitalism lasts... marx said that only once global capitalism is acheived, which we are seeing with globalization, will we ever see a true global revolution and global communism. I cant see capitalism survive more than another 50 years give or take a few. It will be an exciting fifty years for sure.
ah okay, my problem with people who want to bring about those type of changes is that if you have anarchy on a scale that large, you are forcing people to follow your way of thinking, theres no democracy in it. its a self-defeating theory. same with communism, in the end it all comes down to a group of people forcing others to agree with their way of thinking. democracy isnt perfect, but its better than the alternatives. i agree in the personal aspect though, i use it frequently in my own life.

well what marx's ideas were written during the industrial revolution so they were a response to the horrible working conditions. Basically If global capitalism would succeed people would notice how they were being exploited and create a class war. You suggest that it would be people forcing these ideas however the theory suggests that the large margin of people who would be the lower class would realize and revolt. There would only be a small margin of people who would be forced however if this was a violent revolution they probably wouldnt survive... methods of government come into practice (thesis), then are faced with an opposition (anti-thesis) and then present a new thesis. so we will see what happens...
that was one of the top 3 most retarded posts ive seen on this forum. you obviously live a life of total luxury on mom and pops expense account if healthcare isnt an issue to you or your family. if you knew anything about the healthcare system in general you'd know its financially way out of reach for the lower half of society, making healthcare affordable to all isnt being a commie, its being a responsible human being.
