Its probably been asked before, but what are the OTR marker tips made of? Buying individual tips sucks ass. I just wanna make my own tips.
im pretty sure its the foam nibs, youll have trouble making them yourself you could always just throw a sock over it when it gets used
Um.... no.... they are made of felt. To make felt you need to start with wool, that's all you're getting, go find out for yourself.
yo, the nib on my Deco got all dried out coz i lost the cap.........wut should i do to make the nib moist again? and wut should i use as a replacement cap?
any one ever seen these?...they come in mad colors but the ink is madd thick..you can use the ink it has in it but you have to thin it out..but for this demonstration i jus emptyed it out and use my own ink.. comes with a twist of top...you can pull the nib out and re-fill when needed..smaller than most MiNI MOPS...you can get drips if you want just squeeze Heres one i did this time i took the paint out of some silver uni's and threw it in one
next time ur at ur local store, pop open another deco and pull the nib out and take the cap. or just rack another one. u could try soaking the nib in sum thiner, and for a cap find another old marker or sumthign that fits over the end of the marker and just wait till u go get sum new decos
yea the reason it's dried out is coz i tried putting another cap on it and it doesn't create like a vacum thingie that a real Deco cap does......neways, i don't got ne paint thinner, should i soak the nib in alchohol or sumtin? n ya, i'ma try to go racking during spring break
^because if its airtight, and its just a push on cap when u pull it off it wants to pullthe ink out, and when u push it in it forces it to leak
Here are some Pentel Markathon markers...colors are red, blue, black, green..all the colors ive seen... they come in chisel top, bullet tip.. it has a pump action on the top called a color recharger for when the nib gets dryed out..you can press the top to let ink into the tip the body is also see threw so you can see how much ink is in it heres the chisel tip...ya its been beaten up lmaoo it writes descent size heres the Bullet tip...chisel tip on top...bullet tip on bottom Overall good quality ...the red fades way way to quickk..and the black doesent fade at all...and it dries pretty shiny
naa they dont drip... the blue and red fade mad quick....basically the black is the best one i did a tag in blue with that and after a while the only thing i could see was the top part of my R..because alot of ink came out when i put it on the surface...but there all sick tho..the blue is jus sexyyyyy..
