That first one is real good muse. I could imagine it sitting atop a clear lake with all these frogs and shit hoppin around. I've dabbled in photography a little, hard not to when your pops is pro. Heres a very small sample..

This was one of those times when your timing is just lucky as fuck. I like it cause it's like a nature/vs urban concrete typea thing. I like the way the heron is standing right infront of the rubble rising.... I had to cut off the edges a bit to preserve the other pieces from distracting the eye. reads shmuk.

Thanks SAID and Kase. I figured writers would love the one of the alley. :) Unfortunately for local writers it's a block away from the 4th Precinct of Minneapolis Police Dept.

MUSEone, those are really nice. I like how you can see the pollen fuzz on the third one. Are you using a macro lens, or is that just a setting on your camera?

BaddaBING, I really dig that contrast of "nature vs. urbanization" you've got going there. What's that first one? It looks like some kind of fountain or something shot from above...

Thanks Cozmo. First one is a giant pine cone i found up in San. Bern. Mnts.

Your pics are pretty much amazing. I remember wondering what the 7th st. entry was when I heard that slug song...My favorites are dialing in and back alley. The B/W is fuckin perfect for it.

Thanks. :) Glad you like 'em. They were taken in colour, but I have Photoshop CS3 for work, and I use the Camera RAW tools a lot. It's like having a darkroom on your computer. So awesome!

Haha, yeah, 7th Street Entry is kind of a hole. I've been there a couple of times for shows, but it's pretty small. Good for local and small-time bands, but you can only pack about 200 people in there. Not like First Ave, which is like the Granddaddy of Minneapolis clubs. That's the one where pretty much anyone who is anyone plays at least once. I mean, each of those stars on the wall holds the name of a band that's played there, and that's just part of one wall.
