i wanna get a table, preferably a vinyl machine
but there are no record stores round here, or in the region at all
soo shud i jus get a cheap(ish) CDJ?
i wanna use it to cut and crap on not really for proper spinning
    shud i get this - http://www.billsmusiconline.com/adj-ck800.html
or just wait and order a more expensive CDJ?
i dont think ill get a vinyl machine yet..too expensive atm

I play guitar in a hardcore punk band. I have a Stanton T.50 Turntable(the cheapest one you can buy) but I only use it to play records. I wish I knew how to mix

    BTW- Good shit Murdok

This might be way more expensive but check out something like Traktor, Final Scratch, Sereto or somthing like that. I don't know much about it but basically from what I understand you use a normal turntable with a special record, and you can use it to manipulate your digital audio files like vinyl.

Of course you might be on this site at the Library or a friends house and not own a computer or anything so somthing like that might be completly out of the question.

nah i wanted to do something like this, so i cud just scratch with my audio files while keeping them on my hard disk, less trouble and means i can record them
and also means i wudnt need a mixer or second table..any ideas on good Midi tables then?

If you're working with CDs it's pretty easy. Depending on your tables, and their functions, you can scratch, and record. If you buy a RCE to 1/4 cord for like 12$ you can run the from your PHONO OUT from your mixer right to your PC or laptop, you can run it through Audacity to record your mizes.
    Pretty simple.

I don't know a whole lot about Midi tables, but they are pretty easy to hook up to PCs as well, most of them will probably have USB right i nthe decks or the mixer. Unless it comes a a whole unit, which a lot of them do.

your drums need some work man there a bit off beat...

i also dont liek how they just cut of like they were a loop un-properly sliced...

also the vocal sample needs to be turned up because if you put it in there you probably wanted people to hear it but its very drowded out by the rest of the beat

the breakdown in the middle is cool but i kinda have a feeling you probably didnt so that on your own almost sounds like a sample

also when the beat drops out and you got the strings in there doing the whole orchistra type thing then you high those tight ass hi-hats rolling in and then when the beat drops it fails pretty hard for the build up being so tight (which was probably another loop due to how diffrent it was from the drum beat it drops down into once the hihats finally stop rollin....)

but yeah take the drums out of that and ill put some proper ones behind it
