i would suggest you hold off a while, find a bridge to paint under, your towns gotta have at least one bridge or tunnel. cuz freights run all over the country. ya feel me?
yer, ya right... I can't paint in my town cause it's a small town, and i'm already known for doing graffiti(had to change my name 3 times because of that), but I can always go to the Neighbour town wich is a bit bigger... Thanks for the advice!
mekosbc: this is what fucks other writers up in the yards and why toy kids get the shit kicked out of them. i understand u want to hit trains, thats fine, your flick is in the day so looks like u gotta nice chill yard. thats something a lot of writers dont have. so your already at an advantage, also looks like u clean up after yourself (no cans, bags, trash) so thats good. your letters need help, u dont need to be putting that undeveloped, pre-k, crappy arrow shit on trains. your not ready to paint freight yet so stay out of the yard right now. judging by your letters u need to stick to books and paint chill WALLS and not trains. dont make your nice chill yard something people are gunna watch and catch u at because its still fuckin illegal. this is something u would understand if u went out with any experanced writer. a lot of yard workers tolerate graffiti, some even enjoy it, but when u make there job harder they will not tolerate it anymore. your shit will get buffed u will cost them time and money then they go home to the family with a different outlook on graffiti, maybe its not so much an art now, maybe it really is just pointless vandalizm. the reason im saything this is because your not the only one i see with no regaurd for the ethics and un-written rules of painting in the yard. STAY OFF THE NUMBERS. maybe its because u just dont know, or maybe u really dont care but if u dont care put the can down because your not gunna have any trains to paint if this keeps happening. rules of the yard- mind u this is only when u have your letters down and not just throwing up that garbage. 1. respect others burners, shit thats been there forever. 2. never paint on objects around where u enter and leave the yard, thats the best way to get your spot blown. 3. dont leave your trash, cans, gloves, caps, at the spot. pick your shit UP. 4. respect the tracking numbers, warnings, basicly any thing thats already there, when u make the train workers life harder they will let the proper people know. kiss your spot goodbye. some times its ok to go over some shit but take some paint and put it back. Its one thing to hit walls and post that shit up and get crits, but when you hit trains and don't know whats up...your just putting yourself in a bad spot. That shit goes all over the place and how many writers watch those trains roll by? I know I do. Hey...some of us don't hit yards because we have enough respect (and knowledge) for others and ourselves to know we aren't there yet (for those with out understanding, this is where they learn). I'm making a point to help him cause yeah, thats what the toy forums are for aren't they?...you wanna lead with your best foot forward to a country wide audience or jump head first without pushing yourself to get better ( I never said he wouldn't make it, simply Its gonna be a hell of a lot harder). I meant no disrespect but when you go off saying I'm tapping without thinking your not reading me right. I didn't say it out of disrespect, and I don't mean this as such ether (actually most of us have been giving him some good advice, we've been in some way shape or form helpful depending on how you read it). Its a serious tip for someone who is serious about what there doing. You popin your mouth at me isn't gonna change that and If I do the same its just gonna keep going so chill cause its the internet, no reason to get heated over a forum.
