And, im not trying to start beef at all...I just hate when people think they can tell someone else what to and not to paint. I mean seriously...you may have your own interpretation of graffiti, but its exactly that, your own interpretation. I mean, all it fuckin was, was a glorified character...how is that so horrible and wrong and not graffiti? Please explain this to me.
haha na man I understand what you mean. It all boils down to the whole art or vandalism argument. I think after a certain point it all becomes art, but Some people think graffiti is only about letters. I dunno, Im not gonna ramble on about this. But your right, nobody can tell other people what to paint, not like I was gonna listen to him anyway. I've got a problem with my ego, I'll admit it, so Im certainly not gonna listen to some random kid online hahaha.
Yeah, I tried listenin to everyone on this site when I first came here, then I realized the toy threads are pretty much run by 14 year olds. And besides, what do you use paint for, like acrylics and oils? To make art. So why does it change when its being blasted out of a pressurized can? Some things are just not meant to be understood I suppose.
Yeah its all open to interpretation. If you wanna get specific we can ask wikipedia haha, and get... "Art refers to a diverse range of human activities, creations, and expressions that are appealing or attractive to the senses or have some significance to the mind of an individual." So going by that, your right. As long as there is some meaning, it is art. Wether they claim there is or not, theres always some meaning. Im not in the mood to think this much today.

need to work on your can control your lines are shakes as fuck. make sure when you doing an outline try tho make the lines one constant flow not stop start otherwise it will turn out like that
yeah what akel said.try not to sketch out your outline. you should watch how can2 paints. that always helped me. lol but so did catching a gazzillion tags before i sarted doing throwies and burners.
thats a stupid explanation. So people that make perfume or cologne are making art? cause it smells good? I dont know that i would call perfume art.
most of those shakes are because the wall has this holes and it was screwing up the whole line. i need to find a flat wall... but that's the only spot where I can write without beeing bothered.
yo colour 192 i think the problem is that ur lines are shakey as fuck and the 3d on the throw up just doent work shoulda done a drop shadow. also u should just hit chill spots for now leve thos spots till u develope ur shit more. just got back from painting this piece. did the out line and force field in the dark. had a mad finger cramp when i was doing the force feild
