it all depends on the piece....
if its a long ass burner, then a nice chill spot like a trail overpass or under a bridge is best, but not many people will see it....
also, remember, if its a good enough spot, and its hard to get up there, its going to be just as hard for a cop or a pissed off manager to get at you. so be quick, and be quiet, and any spot should be fair game

Spots always depend on what time you hit them,
Lets hear some opinions on the PRIME time to bomb...

MMMM, if people are affraid to make bad ass murals or gigantic graffiti in public places, why dont they get togheter: 5 people study the same piece, you go out one night at 2, 3 oclok in da morning and you bomb it right in front of the town center. Its fast if everybody know what there doing and if you know the escape route. If you dont know any writers in your area, just grab 2 friends to do the fill ins.
    Advice from a canadian-toy (be-atch)

    Depends on what I do,
Slaps: I always choose a high spot (stop signs, no crossing signs etc,.) I don't know why but it always seems like a fun spot to hit with slaps. Either that or I put slaps on phonebooths.
Stencils: I always choose flat walls and try to focus more on clean walls. I sometimes hit high spots with stencils but that's only when I have a friend help me up.
Tags: Metal, I love tagging on metal. I almost never tag on concrete. I usually hit slides, swings, phone booths, electricity boxes. And I try to hit places that don't have much tagging.
Throwies: With my throwies I always always hit risk spots, like bridges and shit. It gives me a nice adrenaline rush for some reason haha.
    and last but not least
Pieces: Like I said in my other post I usually look for walls that are really really tagged and ask the owner if they let me do a piece. That's how I find my piece places.

Its true that the best graffiti is usually in way out of the way places that don't get seen... but theres a reason for that.
Do you know how long it takes to do a huge piece that just completely burns the wall? I know guys in my area that spend entire days working on a single piece.
All of these are in WAY out of the way places, the backwoods underpasses and shit.
You are just NOT going to see a sick piece in town. You may see a halfway decent piece but it wont ever be as crazy as the backwoods burners.
Downtowns only going to see throws and basic pieces 2-3 colors tops

but the heads that see it are gonna be the ones looking for it. don't even tell me that when you're driving or ridin' in a car or on the bus you don't look for graffiti?

A spot which lots of people will pass by.. so you're being seen by at least some one. Not in some abandoned spot where no one will see your shit.
